Why RO water loses minerals

Reverse osmosis (RO) purification uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove contaminants from water. While this process effectively eliminates harmful substances like bacteria, viruses, and heavy metals, it also removes 95% of total dissolved solids (TDS) including essential minerals.

The RO membrane has pores approximately 0.0001 microns in size, small enough to block mineral ions like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). This results in water with TDS levels below 50 ppm, compared to 150-300 ppm in natural mineral water.

The WHO recommends minimum mineral content in drinking water: 30 mg/L calcium and 10 mg/L magnesium. RO water typically contains less than 5 mg/L of each, creating a mineral deficit for households relying exclusively on RO-purified water.

What are ionic liquid micronutrients

Ionic liquid micronutrients are minerals dissolved in water as charged ions (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, K⁺, Na⁺) rather than bound in solid compounds. This ionic form mimics how minerals naturally occur in spring water and body fluids.

Unlike tablets or powders that must dissolve and break down in the digestive system, ionic minerals are already in their most bioavailable form. They dissolve instantly in water and are absorbed directly at the cellular level through ion channels in cell membranes.

Research shows ionic minerals have 85-95% bioavailability compared to 40-50% for tablet forms. This means your body can actually use the minerals you consume, rather than excreting them unabsorbed.

How liposomal delivery works

Liposomal delivery encapsulates nutrients in phospholipid bubbles (liposomes) that mimic cell membranes. These microscopic spheres protect nutrients from degradation in the digestive system and facilitate direct cellular absorption.

When liposomes reach the intestinal wall, they fuse with cell membranes and release nutrients directly into cells bypassing the harsh digestive environment that destroys many conventional supplements.

Our premium liposomal range uses pharmaceutical-grade phosphatidylcholine to create nano-sized liposomes (100-200 nanometers), maximizing absorption rates for nutrients like magnesium, collagen, vitamin C, and curcumin.
